The popular UK-based cultural initiative 7 Beats Music Band is set to return with Sangeetholsavam Season 9, responding to growing demand from music lovers across London. The event will take place on Saturday, March 7, in Hornchurch, promising a full-day celebration of music and dance.

Over the years, 7 Beats has earned wide recognition among the UK Malayalee community for organising high-quality music and dance programmes, supporting charitable causes, commemorating legendary artists, and providing platforms for emerging singers and dancers. Continuing this inclusive tradition, entry to the festival will once again be free of charge.

This year’s Sangeetholsavam will feature special tribute segments honouring two towering figures of Malayalam arts. A musical homage will be dedicated to the late Padma Bhushan awardee O. N. V. Kurup, celebrating his timeless contribution to Malayalam poetry and film music through a curated selection of his evergreen songs.

The programme will also include a remembrance of renowned music composer S. P. Venkitesh, whose compositions and background scores enriched several landmark Malayalam films. His memorable songs and film scores will be revisited as part of a respectful musical tribute.

Sangeetholsavam Season 9 is being hosted with the support of prominent Malayalee cultural, social and arts organisations in London. In line with its long-standing commitment to social responsibility, the entire proceeds from the festival will be utilised for charitable activities, extending support to families in need in Kerala.

The title sponsor for the ninth consecutive season is Lifeline Protect Insurance & Mortgage Services, a leading UK-based mortgage and insurance services provider.

The event will run from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm and will be held at the Campion School Auditorium. Coordinators Sunnymon Mathai and Jomon Mammoottil have extended a warm invitation to all art lovers to attend and be part of the cultural evening.
