Malayalee doctor Ramaswamy Jayaram from Ipswich has been reported missing.
Ramaswamy Jayaram left his home at 5.45am on Sunday 30 June, and has not been seen since.
Police are appealing for help to locate the missing 56-year-old man.
He is described as being of slim build, with dark-drown hair and wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a dark blue/black jacket, light blue jeans and black trainers.
Ramaswamy’s disappearance is out of character and his family and officers are concerned for his welfare.
His car, a grey Citroen C1, was later found in the Ravenswood area of Ipswich.
As a result of this, police searches of the nearby area – particularly in and around Orwell Country Park – have been taking place, assisted by Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue and HM Coastguard.
Anyone who believes they have seen Ramaswamy, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact the duty sergeant at Landmark House in Ipswich on 101.
