UDF Europe Launches High-Energy Election Campaign; V.D. Satheesan Predicts 100-Seat Victory in Kerala

Diaspora mobilisation and coordinated campaign efforts set to play decisive role

The campaign was officially inaugurated by Leader of the Opposition V. D. Satheesan, MLA. In his address, he stressed the urgent need for a change in governance in Kerala, citing the failure of the current administration to address key public issues. Highlighting the importance of expatriate support, he called on the diaspora to unite behind UDF candidates across all 140 constituencies and urged eligible voters to return home to cast their votes.

Expressing confidence in the alliance’s prospects, Satheesan stated that a UDF-led government would come to power with a decisive mandate of 100 seats.

The event was presided over by UDF Europe Chairman Sirosh George, with Convenor Sunny Joseph delivering the welcome address. Coordination was led by Vice Chairman Dr. Muhammad Ali Koonari, Joint Convenor Tomy Thondamkuzhi, along with Romy Kuriakose and Bobin Philip.

Several prominent UDF leaders from Kerala participated and addressed the gathering, including Panakkad Syed Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal, Anto Antony, Shibu Baby John (Ex-MLA), Roji John, Sreenadevi Kunjamma. Speakers highlighted the shortcomings of the current government while presenting UDF’s development agenda and people-centric policies.

The event also saw participation from global diaspora leaders, including IOC Global Coordinator Anura Mathai, World KMCC leader U A Naseer, IOC Switzerland National President Joy Kochatt, EU KMCC leaders Dr. Ali Koonari, Azeez, MA Javad, Shamsudheen Kizhakkethil, IOC (UK) Kerala Chapter Presidents Shinu Clare Mathews & Suju K Daniel, IOC (Ireland) Kerala Chapter President Sanjo Mulavarikal, KMCC Ireland leaders Fawas, Shefeeque, Pravasi Kerala Congress (Joseph) Representative Boss, Media Person Jose Kumbiluvelil along with UDF representatives & supporters Nithin, Mujeeb, Baby Lukose, Aswathi Nair, Inson Jose, Shefeeque, Sanjo Lucy, Naveen, Adarsh, Naufal, Saif, Bins Wilson, George Joseph, Shobin Sam from across the continent.

Organisers announced that a series of coordinated online and offline initiatives—including voter awareness campaigns, constituency-level mobilisation, booth-level coordination, and intensified digital outreach—will be rolled out in the coming days.
