The Malayali Medical Association UK (MMA UK) is gearing up for its much-anticipated Annual Event 2026, which will take place from 10–12 July 2026 at the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel, Daventry, Northamptonshire. The three-day gathering promises to bring together Malayali doctors, healthcare professionals, their families and friends from across the United Kingdom for a memorable weekend of learning, networking, recreation and fellowship.

Widely regarded as one of the highlights of the UK Malayali medical calendar, the annual event combines high-quality Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions with a vibrant programme of social, cultural and sporting activities, creating a unique opportunity for professional development and community bonding.

MMA UK President Dr Antony Thomas, on behalf of the organising team, has extended a warm invitation to members, colleagues and their families to join the event. He encouraged doctors to register early and to invite their former classmates, batchmates and medical college friends, making the gathering a special occasion to reconnect with old acquaintances, share memories and strengthen long-standing friendships.

“This is much more than a conference,” said Dr Thomas. “It is a family reunion for the Malayali medical community. Whether you are attending for the academic sessions, sports, entertainment or simply to meet friends after many years, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”

The programme will feature:

  • High-quality CME lectures and academic sessions
  • Interactive discussions on current medical topics
  • Sports and recreational activities
  • Cultural performances and entertainment programmes
  • Family-friendly social events and networking opportunities

Organisers expect strong participation from doctors and families across the UK, building on the success of previous MMA UK annual gatherings. The event also provides an excellent platform for younger doctors and healthcare professionals to connect with experienced colleagues and expand their professional networks.
