A celebration of Vasu’s life
He was born in Ottopallam, Kerala and lived to 89 years of age.
Vasu was the 5th of 10 children and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dr Girija Menon, his three children, Ashok, Bina & Sasi and his four beautiful grandchildren, Shaan Hari, Amaya & Mollie.
Vasu arrived in the UK in 1961 and studied Electrical engineering in London. He worked for BT at the iconic London tower for 30 years before retiring to a peaceful life in South Woodford and Wanstead. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, having a drink and playing cards with his beloved friends.
The funeral will take place on 2nd August 2024 at 11:00 am.
The Service will be held at the City of London Crematorium, with the memorial wake at Wanstead Golf Club from 12pm onwards.

Please be advised that large cars may not be able to pass through Overton Drive when travelling to Wanstead Golf club.
Please continue straight on Blake Hall Road, turn right on Cambridge Park Road and right again on to St Mary’s Avenue.
No flowers please. The family would prefer a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital if you are able.
