The Malayalee Association of the UK (MAUK) is proudly supporting the celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day in London, alongside the High Commissioner of India and other Indian organisations.
The event will take place on Saturday, 30th August 2025, from 10:30 am at the Navnat Centre, Printing House Lane, Hayes UB3 1AR (nearest station: Hayes & Harlington on the Elizabeth Line). The celebration is free and open to all.
Festivities will begin with a flag-hoisting ceremony at 10:30 am, followed by a host of activities including:

Cultural programmes showcasing India’s rich heritage

Workshops and exhibitions for all ages

A special performance by the MAUK Kalari Team, presenting Kalaripayattu

A MAUK stall offering delicious Kerala delicacies
