Anne aunt was a remarkably strong and loving human being. She grew close to us over the years and we had several wonderful trips together. She was family and she will always remain in our hearts. May God rest her soul in peace and may he give the family strength during this difficult time. Our prayers for the family and the deceased soul.
Annie was one year senior to me in Holy Angels Convent , Trivandrum and we all used to look up to her, as she was smart, witty and beautiful. In Ludhiana she was in my sister in law( Dr Mary John) s classmate and her room was just opposite to that of Mary. She used to attend many meetings of the students evangelical fellowship there ( EU) and was confident in that the Lord Jesus is with her even in the dark patch of her life s fight with cancer.
We prayed for her most earnestly and during the last weeks upheld her before the Lord continuously.
She fought the good fight of faith and as 2 Timothy 4:7,8 says she will receive a crown of righteousness from the Lord , the righteous Judge
Praying for the comfort of Dr Shams and the children
Isaiah 41:10 is a promise from the Bible which we all can claim in this difficult period, knowing that we all have to stand before Him and give account of our life .
Annie has just gone ahead and soon we also will leave this temporal, this mortal will put on immortality (1 Cor 15:53).
I’ve known Anne Philip as a young schoolgirl since 1972 when the Philip family came to live in our neighborhood & both our families developed a close bond since then & until today. So I have watched her grow from a pretty, smart & intelligent school kid into a smart, confident & endearing young woman, who was completely dedicated to her medical profession which she excelled in through compassion & empathy towards her patients. Anne will be sorely missed not only by family & friends but also by her patients, colleagues & medical professionals in the various countries where she served. May God have mercy on her soul & grant her eternal rest. We will miss you Anne here on earth, till we meet again in our heavenly home!
I am so saddened. She was my neighbour in Avittom road while she was still in school.I left the country hence I was out of touch. She was such s sweet girl I knew. Rest of my family are shocked like me. In fact I was in Kerala two weeks back I met her mom and I came to her illness. life is unpredictable. May Geetha rest in peace. ๐
