Gregory Pius, better known in the Malayalee community as ‘Gray from Milton Keynes’, has been selected by the Conservative Party to stand as a candidate for the Milton Keynes City Council on 4th May. Milton Keynes, a ceremonial county of Buckinghamshire, is one of the most economically productive localities in the UK. Gray is contesting from the Stantonbury ward.
Gray, who hails from Kollam in Kerala, came to the UK in 1975 and has been living in Milton Keynes since 1987.
The local Conservative Facebook post said “Gregory Pius is our local candidate for the Stantonbury ward at the local elections to Milton Keynes City Council on 4th May.
Gregory’s ward covers Bancroft, Bradville, Great Linford, Linford Wood, Oakridge Park and Neath Hill.
He is an incredible community champion with voluntary work including onboarding students into our country and organising food parcels for keyworkers during the pandemic.
This is all on top of serving as a subpostmaster in Bradville for over a decade, running a complementary health centre for eight years, to even presiding as the chairman of a charity (BKA) for nine years.
A loyal resident of Milton Keynes for more than 36 years, Gregory is determined to make the Stantonbury ward and the city a better place for everybody to live, work and grow a family.
Vote for Gregory on 4th May.”
