The Association of Trivandrum Medical Graduates in the UK (ATMG-UK) is preparing for its Annual Gala Weekend 2026, bringing together doctors and medical professionals who share a common bond with Trivandrum Medical College.
The three-day gathering will take place from 18 to 20 September 2026 at Mercure Daventry Court, Northamptonshire, and promises a varied programme combining professional development, sport, music and social activities.
Music and Entertainment
SILVER GOTHS on Friday Evening
A major attraction of this year’s Gala Weekend will be the return of the international blues band Silver Goths, performing together for the first time in 30 years. The band features members based in the UK and the United States, including Raaj Kumar, Abu Joseph, Isaac Philip, Ajit Babu, John Oomman and Sajin Sunny.
Musical Extravaganza by Ravisankar on Saturday Evening
Saturday evening will feature a musical extravaganza by Ravisankar, William Isac and Delsy Ninan, accompanied by the Navadhara Orchestra. The programme will also include dance performances, karaoke, Vachakamela and bingo.
CME and Sporting Activities
The professional programme includes a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session at 9am on Saturday, providing members with an opportunity to share knowledge and keep up with developments in medicine.
Sport will also feature prominently, with the ATMG Badminton Championship at 11.30am, followed by a Tug of War competition at 1pm.
Registration
Registration for the Gala Weekend is open. Weekend rates are £120 for non-members and £100 for members and spouses. Friday or Saturday-only attendance costs £60 for non-members and £50 for members and spouses. Children aged 4–12 can attend for £25, while children under four are free.
Accommodation
Discounted accommodation is available at Mercure Daventry Court, with rates starting at £93 for a single room with breakfast, £103 for double occupancy and £145 for a connected family room. The hotel should be contacted directly, quoting ATMGUK, to obtain the special rates.
