The Feast celebration and Kal Kurish consecration were held in a deeply prayerful and spiritual atmosphere at Thrikunnathu Sehion St. George Orthodox Church, Kunnackal East, Muvattupuzha.

The sacred consecration service took place on 31 December 2025, with His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan, officiating as the chief celebrant. The service was blessed by the gracious presence of His Grace Zachariah Mar Severios Metropolitan, adding great spiritual significance to the occasion.

On this solemn day, St. Mary’s Kal Kurish, lovingly dedicated by Chinnamma Cherian, was consecrated in the Golden Jubilee (50th year) of Kuruttampurath Cherian, and as a sacred memorial in loving remembrance of Cicily Cherian, who was called to eternal rest at the tender age of four. The Kal Kurish stands as a symbol of faith, prayer, and hope for generations to come.
