In a bid to empower and educate children with various disabilities, Different Art Centre, based in Kerala is presenting a magic show featuring differently abled children. The programme is supported by Indian magician and motivational speaker from Kerala, Gopinath Muthukad.

This is a special programme for UK and Ireland, which will take place at 2 PM UK time on 18th April, via online.

The project titled as ‘Vismaya Saanthvanam’ (വിസ്മയ സാന്ത്വനം) is a unique program that combines magic, music and dance with the technical excellence of virtual reality. The event is organised to raise funds for the Universal Magic Center project, which provides employment to people with disabilities. The project will cost around Rs 16 crore to complete.

The main aim of the project is to bring the marginalized sections of the society into the mainstream and to make them realise that they have an equal place in the society, like everyone else.

The programme also aims to develop the creative abilities of people with disabilities and provide them with a source of income as well as their mental and intellectual advancement.

The programme is supported by UUKMA and various organisations in the UK and Ireland.
