Air India will be operating three evacuation flights to Kochi this month – on 18th, 24th and 30th of June. Air India has has re-scheduled all their evacuation flights via Delhi.
The airline cancelled the flight, which was scheduled to depart on 21st June from London to Kochi via Mumbai.
All three Kochi flights will depart from Heathrow at 7 pm and arrive in Kochi at 13:30 pm next day.
Bookings can be made online at www.airindia.in.
Tickets on these flights from Europe/UK to India will commence at 08:00 hours GMT on 10th June 2020, and can be booked through Air India website and mobile app only.
Please note that the applicant should also be registered with Local Indian Embassy/High Commission.
OCI card holders in following four permitted categories can travel on these evacuation flights.
- Minor children born to Indian nationals abroad and holding OCI cards.
- Couples where one spouse is an OCI cardholder and the other an Indian national and they have a permanent residence in India.
- University students who are OCI cardholders (not legally minors) but whose parents are Indian citizens living in India.
- OCI cardholders who wish to come to India on account of family emergencies
They will be asked to provide proof of the above by the immigration officer at the port of arrival.
